Pennies for Peace

On April 29th a group of students from our class had the opportunity to travel to Westfield State College to hear Greg Mortenson speak about his work, including his Pennies for Peace project.  We were all very humble to be in the presence of such an inspiring man who has spent his life promoting peace through education.  We are also thrilled to announce that we not only reached our goal of raising $600, but have completed our project with a grand total of $671.12.  Thank you to everyone who so generously supported our efforts.
